Issues and Options Consultation
The Issues and Options Consultation and accompanying Call for Sites ran from 9 January to 6 March 2023.
Consultation responses have now been published and are available to view within the online consultation portal. Instructions on how to view these representations are available once you click the link at the top of the page.
The Issues and Options Consultation Statement, which includes an overview of the consultation process and presents summaries of the responses is now available to view. Responses to the Issues and Options consultation will be used to inform the next stage in the plan making process, the Preferred Options.
The consultation document contained a number of issues that the South Warwickshire Local Plan seeks to address. These issues were identified using the responses to the 2021 Scoping and Call for Sites consultation (which can be viewed in full in the Scoping and Call for Sites Consultation Statement), and ongoing conversations with key stakeholders. The technical evidence has also been used to help inform the issues and the consultation document. In response to the issues identified, officers have formed various ‘options' to overcome these, and respondents were asked which options they thought were most appropriate.
An erratum to this document has been published dated 6th February 2023.
The contents of the plan has been summarised below.

Call for Sites
Alongside the consultation on the Issues and Options document, a second Call for Sites took place. This process provided landowners with the opportunity to submit land/sites for consideration in the plan-making process. Further details on the Call for Sites, can be found on the Call for Sites webpage.
Sites submitted during the second Call for Sites, are now available to view on the Interactive Map alongside sites submitted through the 1st Call for sites. Please note that these sites are presented for information at this stage and have not yet been assessed as to their suitability for inclusion within the plan nor are they endorsed. All Call for Sites submissions are soon to be assessed against the Housing and Economic Land Availability Assessment (HELAA) methodology as outlined on our Technical Evidence webpage.
